WRAP Project

WRAP Project

We have had a successful start to our WRAP Project (Wellness Recovery Action Participation).

The WRAP Project aims to deliver support to people with mental health problems or a learning disability to take control of their lives and well being by providing practical help, befriending groups and training.

Project Activities:

  • 1-1 Support

Supporting individuals on a 1-1 basis to ensure that their voice is heard, giving assistance to enable individuals to be able to take control over their health and wellbeing.

  • Appointment Buddies

Supporting people with disabilities to attend GP appointments, ensuring they understand their treatment pathway and reasonable adjustments are made to foster their engagement.

  • Experts by Experience

We will train volunteers who will help people to access the community and feel better connected.

Individuals can participate in our new Simply Mindful sessions delivered by a qualified professional.

Budgeting support for people transitioning to Universal Credits.

Helping people keep fit, keep safe and keep well.
