WRAP Project

The WRAP Project aims to deliver support to people with mental health problems or a learning disability to take control of their lives and well being by providing practical help, befriending groups and training.

Project Activities:

  • Appointment Buddies

Our appointment buddies will support people to attend GP appointments, to ensure their voice is heard, to ensure they understand their treatment pathway. The appointment buddy will ensure that reasonable adjustments are made to foster people’s engagement.

  • Budgeting Support

Budgeting support for people transitioning to universal credits.

Access to computers and support to use them, so that people can access their accounts on universal credits or other online services.

  • Experts by Experience

We will train volunteers who will help people to access the community and feel better connected.
