Since 1976, SUMMIT has been supporting people in Tendring who may be living with a mental health illness or a long-term health condition.
Now, SUMMIT wishes to extend this reach, by supporting bespoke projects and organisations that make a real difference to the lives of people living in coastal communities.
Together, we can empower people to become the best self-advocate they can be.
Today and in the future.

How it works
1
Identify projects
Our trusted partners identify projects that will benefit the lives of coastal communities.
The partner organisation completes a funding application form and sends this to SUMMIT.
2
Review
All funding applications are reviewed by a Committee, and then by the SUMMIT Board of Trustrees.
3
Award funding
SUMMIT releases funds to all successful applicants.
During and after funding, SUMMIT evaluate the success of the projects with the delivery partner.
Donations received by the Coastal Lives Foundation
All of the projects are funded by the Coastal Lives Foundation.
Funding is donated by SUMMIT and generous companies and organisations
who have a passion for supporting our coastal communities.
