Health & Inclusion Advocacy
At risk of homelessness and finding it hard to get support? If you are an adult based in Colchester or Tendring, our Health & Inclusion Advocates will work alongside you to address inequalities and provide practical support with everyday challenges. By working closely with local partners, we help people build confidence, feel empowered, and gain the knowledge and skills they need to access healthcare and other essential services.
Autism Navigation Service
Are you currently seeking, waiting for, or have recently received an autism diagnosis? Our Autism Navigation Service supports adults in Essex without a learning disability who either need help accessing an autism assessment, or have recently received a diagnosis and are facing challenges in work or education, or having difficulties accessing financial support, healthcare, or other public services.
Peer Support Worker Service
Our Peer Support Workers draw on their lived experience to provide understanding, encouragement, and practical support. As part of the primary care mental health service, they work with you one-to-one or in group settings to help you set personal goals, build confidence to engage in community activities and social opportunities, and take an active role in your care, empowering you to move forward on your recovery journey.
Modern Mindfulness
Struggling with stress, anxiety, low mood, or sleep issues? Our free Modern Mindfulness course fits easily into busy lives and helps you build a healthier, more positive relationship with yourself and the world around you. Through simple, practical techniques focused on the body and breath, you can reduce stress, improve focus and sleep, boost confidence, and build emotional resilience.
