Celebrating 50 Years of Empowerment

2026 marks the golden anniversary of SUMMIT.

Founded in 1976 as Tendring Mental Health Support, we have spent the past five decades amplifying the voices of people across Essex by delivering a wide range of services in partnership with colleagues in health and social care. Working closely with both marginalised adults and their families, we remain steadfast in our mission to empower, promote independence, and nurture self-belief, self-resilience, and self-worth.

Over the next 12 months, we will be unveiling a series of exciting events and projects to celebrate our big milestone. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.
