Autism Innovation Service - Like Minds Essex
Like Minds Essex is a platform of peer support groups in Essex for autistic adults, and adults who identify as neurodivergent.
Like Minds peer support groups are held each month. The support groups provide the opportunity for like-minded people to meet, share interests and become self-advocates.

Our support groups offer a mixture of face to face groups and also virtually online.

SUMMIT also runs an Artism group for adults who enjoy expressing themselves through art. This is currently facilitated in our building in Clacton on Sea.

This service is available for adults 18 years and over.

Autism Navigation Service
If you are looking at starting, or have begun, the Autism diagnostic process, we're here to help from the beginning and beyond.

We are independent and we work solely on the behalf of people that use our service, ensuring there is no conflict of interest with funders and other service providers.

We support you if you have been referred for an assessment of Autism, helping you to engage in the process and making sure your voice is heard.
Whilst you are waiting for a diagnosis, we can work in partnership with you to help resolve any problems you may be experiencing now in your day-to-day life.
We also support you if you've recently been diagnosed and are experiencing barriers accessing the services you need to lead a better life.
We also provide information and guidance to families.

This service is available for adults who are 18 years and over.

AB4D is an Essex wide service delivered by SUMMIT and BATIAS in partnership with Essex County Council (ECC).

The aim of this service is to provide a flexible platform where you feel empowered to have a voice in your local community. We discuss issues that are important to you and work together to find solutions.

AB4D is for adults with an experience of disability, their families and carers.

Your views are passed to the Healthwatch Essex; Collaborate Essex Disability and Carers Forum. The forum is made up of people with an experience of disability, councillors and staff from Essex County Council.
